I have been involved in the creative industries since the 1980's and worked for over ten years in London in photographic studio's covering a range of subjects - fashion, still-life, portraiture. In the mid 1990's I returned to Edinburgh and worked in Corporate portraiture photography for in-house publications. I also started to teach photography through the Edinburgh Adult Education programme. I returned to full-time education in the early 2000's and completed a photography/film degree course at Napier University and followed that up with a Post-Graduate teaching qualification (PQFE) at Stirling University.
